LIBRARY WORKSHOPS FOR RESEARCHERS

Workshop: Government Publications and European Documentation in the James Joyce Library, A useful and little known source for multidisciplinary research in the Human Sciences.

Topics to be covered will include:

· The main government publications in print. How to access them.
· A look at other semi-state bodies e.g. Central Statistics Office.
· Major databases, e.g. House of Commons Parliamentary Papers and Enhanced Parliamentary Papers on Ireland
· The EUROPA site for the European Union.
· Other free sites relating to the European Union.
· Other international organisations.
